MOT centre on fire

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze at an MOT centre on Christchurch Road, Southend.
More than half of the building was on fire when crews from Southend and Rochford arrived on the scene at around 8.30pm.
It was feared there may have been be gas cylinders inside the building.
The fire was bought under control after 40 minutes.
